Description: The FSM-40F has been specially designed to meet the more specialized needs of the factory user. The splicer has been designed to require the minimum of skill dependency and still provide a stable splice loss at a speed demanded by production applications. The FSM-40F offers a host of innovative features for improved use in factory environments such as sweep arc discharge for dissimilar fibre splicing and a low profile design. Other attributes of the splicer are a short cleaved length, high tensile strength performance splicing, a self-diagnostic function for easy maintenance and automatic storage of the last 1500 test results.
