Description: It is generally much easier to handle and splice fibers that are only acrylate coated versus fibers that have been "up buffed" with a 900 microns (mm) thermo-plastic coating. The problem has always been that there was no way to remove the "tight buffer" without removing the underlying acrylate. Finally, Vytran's TBS-900 provides an easy method for stripping long lengths (> 50 cm) of tight buffer down to the underlying acrylate. Inner acrylate coating diameters of 250, 400 and 500 mm can be accommodated.
