Description: The IQ-2600B Tunable Laser Source fulfills testing requirements for dense WDM components in both the C- and L-band ranges. The source covers and impressive range and is continuously tunable. With a 1 pm resolution and offering an impressive 60 dB of signal-to-spontaneous-emission ratio (SSER), this source ranks among the top TLS products for testing and measurements. Such a clean signal provides a superior dynamic range, allowing you to measure crosstalk at a level that would not be possible with a traditional external cavity laser. The IQ-2600B offers two sweep modes (continuous or step-by-step), which allows simple and efficient integration with most test system architectures, such as EXFO's turnkey system, the IQ-12004B DWDM Passive Component Test System.

Tuning range of > 100 nm covering both the C- and L- bands: wavelength tuning from 1510 nm to 1612 nm, output power is 0 dBm over the 1515 nm to 1610 nm range

Elimination of connector-induced and other parasitic interference: no mode-hop related measurement problems
