Description: The 83433A provides the optical interface necessary to allow bit error ratio testing of 10 Gb/s optical receivers used in 10 Gb/s SONET/ OC-192 SDH and IP optical networks. The 83433A may be combined with the 83434A Receiver (not included) to create a complete optical link for system or fiber testing. The digital data input connector is APC-3.5 male, the low-frequency modulation input connector is BNC female, the internal laser output and optical modulator input connectors are FC/PC. The modulated optical output connector is Diamond HMS-10/HP.
This unit operates at 1549.32 nm.
