Description: The HP 8901B modulation analyzer combines the capabilites of several RF instruments to give complete, accurate characterization of modulated signals in the 150 kHz to 1300 MHz frequency range. It very accurately measures modulation and recovers the modulation signal. It determins RF frequency and measures RF power. It features improved power meter accuracy, an ability to use external power sensors, and an ability to count audio frequencies and measure distortion on 400 Hz and 1 kHz signals. The instrument is fully automatic and can make all major measurements with the push of a key or under HP-IB control.
