Description: The LDT-5525 is a precision, low-cost, microprocessor-driven thermoelectric temperature controller optimized for temperature control of laser diodes and IR photodetectors. The instrument provides up to 24W to a TE module, while measuring sensor current, voltage, or resistance from thermistors or IC temperature sensors for precision control and direct temperature readout.
The LDT-5525 utilizes an advanced hybrid, smart-integrator algorithm to ensure fast settling times and to maintain high temperature stability of better than 0.004°C for laser diode applications requiring high wavelength and power stability. Flexibility was designed into the instrument with a choice of three operating modes: constant temperature, constant resistance, or constant current.
This unit has the following features:
High-accuracy, high-stability temperature control
Typical drift less than ±0.004°C
Wide temperature range of–99°C to 199°C
Low-noise 24W bipolar output
Operational with most thermistors and IC temperature sensors
Analog output proportional to sensor measurement
