Description: The NI PCI-GPIB is a high-performance Plug and Play IEEE 488 interface for personal computers and workstations equipped with PCI expansion slots. You can use the PCI-GPIB in PCs running Windows 2000/NT/Me/9x, Power Macs, Sun Ultra Workstations, and DEC Onboard bus master DMA Controller for no microprocessor interruption in data transfers.
The GPIB Cable is IEEE-488 compatible, RFI shielded - and is approx 40" long. The connector blocks at both ends have a plug on one side and a matching receptacle on the other, allowing several cables to be connected in parallel. Lock screws provide secure mounting of each connector block to an HP-IB instrument, or to another cable.
