The Venus II will prove itself in your everyday operations. With the easy-to-use Venus II, even unskilled operators can hermetically seal square or rectangular packages up to 6" by resistance welding or solder reflowing. Positioning tabs on the dual electrodes provide infinite positional accuracy between wheels with pressure control from 5 to 60 Newtons. This kind of accuracy allows your operators to produce welds which meet MIL-STD 883C. Combined with the low inertia, rapid follow-up electrode arms, the Venus II meets the demands of quality as well as high throughput.
The microprocessor control system regulates heat pulse width and weld duration. In addition, weld initiation and termination are computer controlled with fully adjustable on/off time entered on the keypad.

The Polaris II has the following specifications:

Linear sealing for square and rectangular packages from 0.2" to 5.5" with fixturing available for packages up to 9"
Self-contained tacking operation
Force equalizing system between electrodes
Microprocessor controlled phase angle firing for power control

Stand-along system
The difference between the two units appears to be that the Polaris II works on packages from .250" to 6.0" while the Polaris III works on packages 2.0" to 5.5".
