The MultiPrep Positioning Device, when used with the TechPrep Polishing machine, enables precise semiautomatic grinding and polishing of a wide variety of materials. Common applications include parallel polishing, precise angle polishing and site-specific polishing, or any combination of the above. The TechPrep incorporates all the necessary motor and speed controls for proper operation of the MultiPrep.

This includes an incomplete MultiPrep Accessory kit:

• CAM Lock Adapter installed on system
• One Parallel Polishing Fixture (15-1020)
• Dial Indicator Calibration Kit (15-1030)
• Partial set of weighs (15-1035)
• O-Ring Drive system
• Does not have the optional rear dial indicator installed.

We tested the platen with the shown Mitutoyo dial gauge and depending on the rotation of the platen, the minimum measurement was approximately 30-40 μm and the maximum was 60-70 μm.
