Crimp function was verified, and tool opened to verify fluid levels. During that, some spilled and we don't have the Burndy hydraulic fluid in house. The unit uses a small amount, but they only sell it by the gallon. I figure it is better to reduce the cost of the equipment to allow the fluid to be purchased by the end user. It specifically uses the Burndy Alfuid hydraulic fluid. System is offered here needing replacement on the hyraulic fluid to operate, there is a fair amount of scratching on the tool body.
