The Model 860 Wide Range Resistance Indicator incorporates a unique, dual electrode design for both resistance-to-ground and surface resistivity measurements. The geometric configuration of the resistivity electrodes provides a direct reading of surface resistivity that is 10 times the measured resistance. Measurements over the 102 to 1011 Ohm range are performed with a regulated open circuit test voltage of 10 Volts. The resistance within the selected decade is indicated by a green LED. Resistances below the selected range are indicated by a flashing yellow LED and above the range by a flashing red LED.
