Fitel S218 with S941
The Fitel S218 Hot Stripper safely strips the fiber without damaging or impacting the fiber's strength. It runs with a slot-in battery providing cordless operation. This thermal fiber optic stripper removes the coating of single fibers as well, as ribbon fibers (2-12 fibers).
This unit has the following specifications:
- Applicable optical fiber Silica glass-based optical fibers:
- Single fibers: 0.25 to 0.4mm coating diameter, 0.125 clad diameter
- Ribbon fibers: 2- to 12-fiber ribbons, 0.3 to 0.4mm thickness
