This model will produce movements in the X-Y-Z planes. Each slide has 1/2 inch travel. Dimensions of the mounting slide are 1-3/4 inches wide by 1-5/8 inches high. The mounting slide has four #6-32 tapped holes. There are four drilled and counterbored holes in the base. The micrometer heads are graduated with .001 inch divisions. The castings are of dense iron, nickel plated and finished with light gray enamel.
This unit has the following features:
- The coarse adjustments are made with the center micrometer throughout the 1/2 inch travel and the fine adjustments are made with the fine feed micrometer on the side of the fine feed attachment
- Fine feed mode has .010 inch total travel
- Center micrometer moves slide .025 inch per revolution of the thimble and is graduated with .001 inch divisions
- Fine feed micrometer moves slide .001 inch per revolution of the thimble and the thimble is graduated with 25 divisions equaling 1 micron per division
