Thomas & Betts Color-Keyed® Sta-Kon® Air-operated bench-mounted crimp tool features a compact, heavy-duty air tool is designed to install the copper and aluminum connectors on wire sizes from 8 AWG to 500 kcmil. It is very simple to operate by inserting stripped wire into connector barrel, position it in crimping nest and depress foot pedal to actuate crimping dies. It uses Shure-Stake® mechanism to sense inlet air pressure and is designed to prevent the tool from cycling when it is insufficient. It provides a guard over the die area, an air shutdown switch activated by a slight push with the finger and an enclosed foot pedal designed to prevent unwanted tool operation for safer use. The tool can be mounted on bench for easy stability and control.
