WEST-BOND 7700A 25A-44B-45G-66 ULTRASONIC BALL & WEDGE WIRE BONDER ~ WESTBOND

Bonds gold wire by the conventional ball- and-wedge thermosonic technique, combining ultrasonic energy with that of heated work, with the netresult of thermocompression-type bonds but with much less temperature. Bonds may be made in any direction without the need to rotate the work.

This is an incomplete system; it is missing a multi-position reed switch (Photograph four) the one that would select the channel on the left hand side. Unit did power when the power switch was operated and other switches generated some visual changes. We didn't attach this system to a vacuum line. System case was opened to show the various components present. The ball knob moved the internal mounting structure. There is no microscope post or mount holder. System is as mentioned offered here for parts, incomplete.
