Unit has a small chigger in the round metal glass on the base (Photograph 20), does not extend into field of view. The numbers on the right knob of the M8 body are slightly worn from use (Photograph three to six) and there is part of a screw missing (Photograph 14), but the knob is tight and turns well through the full range.

System has an illuminator in the base that is adjustable in brightness. There isn't an external illuminator included with the system.
